I just received a letter from David Wex, the Principle of Urban Capital Property group.

Sounds like the activity in and around the area is well under way.

Highlights include:

-Commencing construction of Underpass Park - start in later November

-Continuing work on Don River Park, including a pavilion and park steps which will an integral feature of the parks design.

-Pre-qualifying teams to design, build and finance the development of the Toronto2015 Pan Am Athlete's Village.

River City itself is now ready to proceed with construction. Site preparatory work just needs to be done and they plan to begin construction in June.
